Code of Ethics, and Good Government and Administration

T

his  Code of Ethics, and Good Government and Administration is the work of this  regional  university, recognized in its constitution and statutes, and takes its inspiration from those  fundamental values inherent to the University of  Castilla-La Mancha , such as transparency, responsibility when exercising the public duties entrusted to it, general efficiency and efficiency in performance, social participation, plurality, dialogue, criticism, solidarity, recognition of diversity, a commitment to sustainable development and a strive for excellence in the academic missions which society recognizes it for.

The UCLM Code of Ethics, and  Good Government and Administration , is, therefore, the document in which some values of the institution  considered to be guiding principles of  the public activity carried out by its government and management bodies, are made explicit. Values which are closely inter-related and which in practice are presented as an opportunity to make a contribution towards developing a culture of ethics and excellence which is perceptible from both outside and  inside the institution, making all we do as part of the university community meaningful. It must be considered as a voluntary commitment of the University of  Castilla-La Mancha to reaching the goals defined in the state and regional legislation as regards transparency and good government.
