MESCyT
The agreement signed by the Minister of MESCYT, Franklin García Fermín and the rector of UCLM, José Julián Garde López-Brea, establishes a format of international exchanges between both entities, for the sending of students with scholarships from MESCYT to UCLM, to develop a total of 25 programs, in the areas of engineering, research, anthropology, medicine, nanoscience, finance, tourism, education, law, among others.
Interested scholarship holders must apply to UCLM's master's or doctoral programs in accordance with the general access regulations and specific admission requirements for each type of program. Once selected and with the letter of acceptance from the university, they will be able to obtain the MESCYT scholarship.
Scholarship recipients will be able to benefit from this aid in 25 official master's degree programs. This academic offer is focused on specific selected areas that are considered a priority because they have a direct impact on the strategic development plan of the Dominican Republic. These grants, in addition to tuition fees, will also cover travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Likewise, and according to the signed framework agreement, the temporary exchange of professors for the provision of technical assistance and consultancy services in the field of Higher Education will also be encouraged.
