The Faculty of Pharmacy at UCLM joins the commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 8, 2023, with a program of activities designed to encourage the participation of women and girls in science and technology.
This day is an opportunity to recognize the important role that women play in science and to inspire young girls to explore careers in this field. The Faculty of Pharmacy at UCLM is committed to gender equality and diversity in science, and we are excited to celebrate the women and girls who have contributed and continue to contribute to the advancement of science and technology.
Our program of activities will include talks and discussions with experts in the field of pharmacy, as well as practical activities and demonstrations to show young girls how science and technology are applicable in their daily lives. There will also be opportunities for young girls to meet women in different roles and stages of their careers in science, and to ask questions and discuss their experiences and challenges.
